Federation partners with CCCS to offer Provista Agreement
Released: 3/24/2009
SUPPLY AND EQUIPMENT CONTRACTS NOW AVAILABLE
THROUGH PROVISTA

The Federation of Independent Illinois Colleges and Universities (Federation), and the Coalition of College Cost Savings (CCCS) are pleased to announce a new contractual relationship with Provista, a large group purchasing organization for higher education. This agreement will entitle all Federation/ACI schools access to almost 200 supply and equipment contracts from the provista contract portfolio for your procurement needs. Provista, with current contracts totaling over $3 billion in purchases, is now demonstrating the positive impact on pricing and service of consolidated buying in higher education. Provost’s portfolio of national contracts offer low, competitive pricing, customer service and ordering systems to lower both your supply expense and processing costs. Whether your contracting needs are focused on office equipment and supplies for your educational areas, furniture for your buildings and residence halls, chemicals and paper products for your plant operations, food for your dining facilities or even medical supplies and pharmaceuticals for your on-campus student clinics, Provista has contract groupings available for your access.

In addition to their expense reducing contracts, the Provista customer service team is ready to provide assistance to insure the successful implementation of the needed contracts at your institution. Within the upcoming weeks, whether by a personal visit from a member of their sales team, or through a call from their account executive, you will have the opportunity to identify those contracts that you wish to access and to coordinate with the sales representatives of those suppliers to begin ordering.

For your information, I have attached an updated summary of the agreements available through this contract with Provista.

The Federation and CCCS believe there is great value available with our partnership with Provista and hope that you will choose to participate in a number of their contract offerings. Thank you.

Regards,

David W. Tretter
