The Federation of Independent Illinois Colleges and Universities is an advocacy organization that represents the public policy interests of Illinois’ independent non-profit colleges and universities. As the oldest private college association in the country, with a membership of 60 institutions serving over 230,000 students annually from all regions of the state, the Federation is the unified voice on behalf of the independent sector of higher education in Illinois.
