DePaul University
DePaul University is a private, Catholic institution, founded by the Vincentian order in 1898, which today reflects a wide diversity of ethnic, religious and economic backgrounds among its 18,565 students. The Lincoln Park campus on Chicago’s near North side is a traditional residential campus and houses the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the School of Education, the School of Music, and the Theatre School. The Loop campus, in the heart of the business district, houses the College of Commerce, the School of accountancy, the School of Computer Science, Telecommunications and Information Systems, the School for New Learning and the College of Law. DePaul also has four suburban campuses throughout the Chicago metropolitan area providing convenience and access to adult and graduate students.
